Sutherland leaves Araski

29-year old American (has also Belizean passport) forward Aishah Sutherland (187-90, college: Kansas, agency: Two Points) left Lacturale Art Araski (Liga Dia). In 10 games in Spain she averaged 3.5ppg and 3.2rpg this season.
Part of last season Sutherland spent at Roche in French league where in 9 games she had 6.6ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.1apg. She also played for Blue Minx in South Korean league. In 9 games she recorded 6.6ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.0apg.
Among other achievements Sutherland won Latvian LSBL championship title in 2017. She received also Eurobasket.com Latvian-Estonian LSBL Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com Latvian-Estonian LSBL Import Player of the Year award in 2017.
Sutherland is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in seven different countries playing on four different continents. She is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Sutherland has played previously professionally also in Chile (Los Leones), Italy, Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Poland (CCC Polkowice and Sosnowiec), Latvia (TTT Riga) and South Korea (Woori Bank).
She attended University of Kansas until 2012 and it is her eighth season in pro basketball.
