Smart Belize Hurricanes (NEBL) landed experienced 42-year old former Belizean international forward Alex Carcamo (200-77, college: EWU). He played recently at Besa in Kosovan league. Carcamo missed last three seasons and his form is rather questionable. However he is probably the most experienced player in a team and will make it definitely to starting five.
Among other achievements Carcamo received Latinbasket.com All-Chilean Liga Nacional Honorable Mention award back in 2015.
He also represented Belize at the Central American Games in Managua (Nicaragua) three years ago. Carcamo's team won Bronze.
He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Hurricanes.
Carcamo attended Eastern Washington University until 1999 and it will be his 21st (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into His outlook: A good all around forward, who plays the 3 and 4 positions and even some 5 if needed. Very athletic, good shootblocker, he's really quick for a PF, and has good shooting, dribbling and post-up skills.
