Jamell Harris (ex KW Titans) signs at Hurricanes

Smart Belize Hurricanes (NEBL) landed 28-year old American forward Jamell Harris (206-91kg-91, college: EMU). He played recently at KW Titans in Canadian NBL. In three NBL Canada games he averaged 5.7ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.0apg and 1.3bpg this season. The last summer Harris played at Warriors (LPB) in Colombian league where in 10 games he had 6.1ppg and 4.5rpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Harris also played 3 games in where he recorded 10.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.3apg and 1.0bpg.
His team won MAC West Division Regular Season in 2012.
Harris is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to five different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Harris has played previously professionally in Chile (Deportivo Valdivia), Iraq (Al Kahraba), Mexico (Tijuana Zonkeys), Saudi Arabia (Al Wehda) and Norway (Froya Basket).
He attended Eastern Michigan University until 2013 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball.
