Rishon Le-Zion signs Aishah Sutherland

Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (D1) signed 30-year old American (has also Belizean passport) forward Aishah Sutherland (187cm-90, college: Kansas). She played last season at Maccabi Bnot Ashdod. In three D1 games in Israel she had 11.3ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.3apg and 2.0spg.
Sutherland is quite experienced player. She has played in eight different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Sutherland has played previously professionally in Chile (Leones), France (Roche), Italy, Korea (Woori Bank and Blue Minx), Latvia (TTT Riga), Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Poland (Polkowice and Sosnowiec) and Spain (Gernika and Araski).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Sutherland won Latvian LSBL championship title in 2017. She was also voted Eurobasket.com Latvian-Estonian LSBL Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com Latvian-Estonian LSBL Import Player of the Year back in 2017.
She attended University of Kansas until 2012 and it will be her tenth season as a professional player.
