The swingman had the game-high 39 points adding seven rebounds and two assists for Western Ballaz in his team's victory, helping them to beat Tiger Sharks (#7, 1-4) 96-87. Western Ballaz maintains the 5th position in Belizean BEBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Western Ballaz will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Gordon had a remarkable 63.2% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Western Ballaz, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Keiser University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Gordon is in league's top in points (2nd best: 28.4ppg), assists (9th best: 2.6apg) and averages solid 2.8spg,60.6% FGP and 44.4% from behind 3-point line. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American Jeremiah Toney (196-SF-1998, agency: One Motive Sports) of Red Taigaz. Toney impressed basketball fans with 29 points and 5 rebounds. Of course he led Red Taigaz to another comfortable win 106-91 over the lower-ranked Panthers (#8, 1-5) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Red Taigaz to move up to 4th position in the standings. His team's 3-2 record is not bad at all. Toney is one of the most experienced players at Red Taigaz and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.8ppg (#4). He also registered 7.4 boards per game. The third best performed player last round was Tavian Davis (183-PG-1998) of Panthers (#8). Davis got into 30-points club by scoring 43 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . Despite Davis' great performance Panthers lost 91-106 to the higher-ranked Red Taigaz (#4, 3-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Panthers can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-5 record places them at the very bottom of the standings.
