Kyle Steward claims Belizean BEBL Hoops Agents weekly honour- April 18, 2023
The 27-year old swingman had a double-double of 33 points and ten rebounds, while his team outclassed Panthers (#8, 1-9) with 32-point margin 83-51. Tiger Sharks is placed at 5th position in Belizean BEBL. Tiger Sharks is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-4 record. Steward just recently signed at Tiger Sharks, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Kyle Steward averages this season 27.5ppg and 9.8rpg. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was American swingman Mark Gordon (196-F/G) of Western Ballaz. Gordon impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Western Ballaz was edged by slightly higher-ranked Defenders (#4, 5-4) 81-77. This loss caused Western Ballaz to drop to 6th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-5 record. Gordon is one of the most experienced players at Western Ballaz and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 28.4ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 8.9rpg and 3.2apg. The third best performed player last round was American Nigel Jones (201-G/F-1990) of Defenders (#4). Jones scored 19 points and grabbed fifteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Defenders, leading his team to a 81-77 win against slightly lower-ranked Western Ballaz (#6, 4-5). Defenders needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 4 lost games. Jones has a great season in Belize. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.6ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 11.4rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.8bpg and FGP: 59.0%. Jones attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball. Other top performing players last week: 4. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
