Belizean BEBL round 4 best performance: Jihad Wright

American Guard Jihad Wright (193-G-1993) had a great game in the last round for San Pedro Tiger Sharks, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 30-year old player was the main contributor (19 points, seven rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Dream Ballers (#7, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 83-80. Tiger Sharks is placed at 4th position in Belizean BEBL. Tiger Sharks is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. In the team's last game Wright had a remarkable 69.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Tiger Sharks' top player in his first season with the team. Former University of North Carolina at Pembroke star has very solid stats this year. Wright is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 11.0rpg) and averages impressive 3.5spg and 66.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Tiger Sharks' star - young American Bobby Arthur-Williams (201-F-1997, agency: Starting 5). Arthur-Williams had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. It was enough for San Pedro Tiger Sharks to edge Dream Ballers (#7, 0-3) 83-80. This victory allowed Tiger Sharks to move up to 4th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Arthur-Williams is one of the most experienced players at Tiger Sharks and similarly like Jihad Wright has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Delvon Henderson (200-PF-1991) of Griga Dream Ballers (#7). Henderson scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Henderson's great performance the Dream Ballers lost 80-83 to the higher-ranked Tiger Sharks (#4, 2-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Dream Ballers can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 3 games. Henderson has individually a great season in Belize. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.5ppg (2nd best).
