Defenders forced 20 Trojans turnovers and outrebounded them 49-24 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Defenders looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The best player for the winners was naturalized American forward Fenton Bradley Jr (200-1998, college: W.Connecticut, agency: One Motive Sports) who scored 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American swingman Nigel Jones (201-1990, college: Talladega) chipped in 20 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Jayden Lopez produced 21 points and 4 assists for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defenders moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Trojans keep the fifth position with six games lost. Defenders are looking forward to face Dream Ballers (#6) in Dangriga in the next round. Trojans will have a break next round.
