Hurricanes - Dream Ballers 105-70

Hurricanes dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Dream Ballers' 34. Hurricanes forced 23 Dream Ballers turnovers and outrebounded them 57-29 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Hurricanes looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American swingman Victor Evans (193, college: Vanguard) stepped up and scored 19 points and 5 assists for the winners and Mali center Bourama Sidibe (208-1997, college: Syracuse, agency: VM Hoops Agency) chipped in 10 points and 13 rebounds. Hurricanes' coach Greg Moguel felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side the former international guard Edgar Mitchell (-1993) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Deshawn Brackett (178-2001) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Hurricanes and four Dream Ballers players scored in double figures.

American power forward Richard Smith III (206-1992, college: California, PA) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import swingman Nigel Jones (201-1990, college: Talladega) accounted for 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Defenders players scored in double figures. The former international guard Daniel Conorque (193-1991, college: Pima CC) came up with 26 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Bobby Arthur-Williams (201-1997, college: Pitt St.) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Tiger Sharks in the defeat. Tiger Sharks' coach Rico Black rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
