Hurricanes - Defenders 87-63

Hurricanes had a 32-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. American point guard Amar Ross (170-2000, college: Bethesda) stepped up and scored 19 points for the winners and the former international guard Glency Lopez (180-1997, college: Midland CC) chipped in 18 points. Ross is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Hurricanes players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Daniel Estes (198-1996, college: Bethesda) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import swingman Nigel Jones (201-1990, college: Talladega) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
