Belizean BEBL round 1 best performance: James Milton (by Hoops Agents)

American Forward James Milton (203-F-1992, agency: Interperformances) had an amazing evening in the last round for EZ Investments Dream Ballers, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 32-year old player had a double-double of 32 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Western Ballaz (1-1) 88-76. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Dream Ballers is placed at 3rd position in Belizean BEBL. Dream Ballers is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Milton had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Dream Ballers and it was his first game, where he immediately became new team's leader. Former Stevenson University star has very solid stats this year. Milton is league's best scorer averaging so far 32.0ppg. Milton is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 13.0rpg) and averages impressive 75.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Tyrone Hall (190-G -1990) of league's second-best Belize City Thunderbolts. Hall had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Thunderbolts to another comfortable win outscoring Dream Ballers (1-1) 101-81. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Hall is one of the most experienced players at Thunderbolts and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.0ppg (#5). He also registered 7.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Thunderbolts' star - Belizean Glency Lopez (180-G -1997). Lopez got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for five assists. Despite Lopez's great performance the Belize City Thunderbolts lost 101-109 to #1 ranked Tiger Sharks. But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Lopez has a great season in Belize. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.7ppg (7th best), rebounds with 3.3rpg (8th best) and assists with 5.7apg (best passer).
