Nicholas' double-double lands him Player of the Week award

Forward Arik Nicholas (196-F) had a very impressive game in the last round for Western Ballaz and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had a double-double of 33 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Panthers (#6, 3-9) 75-65. Western Ballaz is placed at 3rd position in Belizean league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Western Ballaz will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. In the team's last game Nicholas had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Western Ballaz's top player in his first season with the team. Arizona Christian University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Nicholas is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.0ppg. Nicholas is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 10.0rpg) and averages solid 2.6bpg and 63.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Victor Evans (193-G , agency: F1RST STRING) of Belize City Thunderbolts. He is American in his first season at Thunderbolts. In the last game Evans recorded an impressive 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. It was enough for Thunderbolts to edge slightly lower-ranked Kings (#5, 4-8) by 1 point 90-89. Thunderbolts' 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 6-5 record is not bad at all. Evans is a newcomer at Thunderbolts and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.3ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 7.8rpg and 4.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to Deshawn Brackett (178-2001) of league's second-best EZ Investments Dream Ballers. Brackett scored 27 points and passed 4 assists. He was a key player of Dream Ballers, leading his team to a 78-72 win against #1 ranked Tiger Sharks in a game of the week. Dream Ballers needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 4 lost games. Brackett has a great season in Belize. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.6ppg (5th best) and assists with 3.5apg (6th best).
