BEBL Round 12 (Regular Season): Dream Ballers are defeated by Panthers

Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most important game in the last round took place in Punta Gorda between second ranked Dream Ballers (8-5) and sixth ranked Panthers (4-10) on Saturday night. Dream Ballers were defeated by Panthers on the road 88-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dream Ballers. Panthers looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Dream Ballers' players. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Kyle Steward (201-1995, college: UMKC) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Marquis Cunningham (208-1995, college: UAPB) who added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American Deshawn Brackett (178-2001) with 21 points and 6 assists. Panthers maintains sixth position with 4-10 record. Dream Ballers at the other side keep the second place with five games lost. They share the position with Thunderbolts.
Fourth ranked Thunderbolts (8-5) crushed at home 5th ranked City Kings (4-9) by 28 points 96-68, which is the biggest margin this round. The winners were led by American Victor Evans (193, college: Vanguard, agency: F1RST STRING) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals and Matthew Young supported him with 13 points and 18 rebounds. Even 19 points and 9 rebounds by Brandon Flowers (196-1995) did not help to save the game for Kings. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Thunderbolts have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Dream Ballers. Kings at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the fifth position with nine games lost.

Very expected game in Dangriga where 6th ranked Panthers (4-10) were defeated by second ranked Dream Ballers (8-5) 74-61. Dream Ballers forced 20 Panthers turnovers. The winners were led by the former international Daniel Conorque (193-1991, college: Pima CC) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and American Deshawn Brackett (178-2001) supported him with 17 points and 4 assists. Four Dream Ballers players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds by American forward Marquis Cunningham (208-1995, college: UAPB) did not help to save the game for Panthers. Jaden Sutherland added 14 points and 7 rebounds. Dream Ballers maintains second position with 8-5 record having just two points less than leader Tiger Sharks, which they share with Thunderbolts. Panthers at the other side keep the sixth place with ten games lost.
