Victor Evans claims Belizean BEBL weekly honour

American Victor Evans (193-G , agency: F1RST STRING) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Belize City Thunderbolts and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The had a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed Kings (#5, 4-9) with 28-point margin 96-68. Thunderbolts is placed at 2nd position in Belizean BEBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Thunderbolts will need more victories to improve their 8-5 record. In the team's last game Evans had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Thunderbolts' top player in his first season with the team. Vanguard University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Evans is in league's top in points (3rd best: 19.4ppg), rebounds (8th best: 8.2rpg), assists (3rd best: 4.6apg) and averages solid 2.5spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international Daniel Conorque (193-F -1991) of EZ Investments Dream Ballers. Conorque impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led Dream Ballers to another comfortable win 74-61 over the lower-ranked Panthers (#6, 4-10) being unquestionably team leader. Despite this victory Dream Ballers slide down in the standings to 3rd position. His team's 8-5 record is not bad at all. Conorque is a newcomer at Dream Ballers and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Kyle Steward (201-F/G-1995) of Punta Gorda Panthers (#6). Steward scored 29 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was a key player of Panthers, leading his team to a 88-73 easy win against the higher-ranked Dream Ballers (#3, 8-5). Panthers can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 4-10 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Steward has a very solid season. In 6 games in Belize he scored 20.5ppg. He also has 6.5rpg and 3.3apg.

10. Marquis Cunningham (208-F-1995) of Panthers - 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
