Western Ballaz - Thunderbolts 80-78

Western Ballaz forced 24 Thunderbolts turnovers. Strangely Thunderbolts outrebounded Western Ballaz 53-40 including 23 on the offensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by Thunderbolts helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for forward Arik Nicholas (196, college: ACU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds. Naturalized American guard DVon Campbell (185-1992, college: Campbellsville) contributed with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Matthew Young answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 23 rebounds and the former international Glency Lopez (180-1997, college: Midland CC) added 12 points and 10 assists in the effort for Thunderbolts. Four Thunderbolts players scored in double figures.
