Tiger Sharks sweep Western Ballaz to celebrate BPBL title

Western Ballaz - Tiger Sharks 56-63

Tigers Sharks are crowned inaugural BPBL champions. They defeated Western Ballaz to complete the sweep of the championship series. Tiger Sharks forced 21 Western Ballaz turnovers and outrebounded them 46-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. The former international guard Jihad Wright (193-1993, college: UNCP) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points. The former international Brian White (196-1995, college: Wesley) contributed with 8 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Forward Arik Nicholas (196, college: ACU) replied with 12 points and 5 rebounds and forward Darnell Oden added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Western Ballaz.
