It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in BEBL, but even now we can clearly see the difference between stronger teams and outsiders. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Western Ballaz (1-1) in Belize City on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Running Rebels (3-0) 82-64. Running Rebels outrebounded Western Ballers 60-46 including 23 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American power forward Kenneth Perkins Jr (210-1997, college: Philander Smith) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. point guard Francis Arana (180-1997) chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Mark Gordon (196, college: Keiser) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Running Rebels are looking forward to face Trojans (#6) in Belmopan in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Western Ballaz will have a break next round.
The game in Dangriga was also worth to mention about. Suns (0-2) played at the court of Dream Ballers (1-2). Dream Ballers managed to secure a 4-point victory 77-73. It was a good game for forward Arik Nicholas (196, college: ACU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds. Deshawn Brackett contributed with 11 points, 6 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Kevin Jones answered with 19 points and 7 rebounds for Suns. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Dream Ballers' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Dangriga Dream Ballers.
In the last game of round 3 Defenders defeated Trojans in Belize City 92-80.

Lander) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Jones is a former
Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four
Defenders players scored in double figures. American guard
Bryan Hudson (190, college:
MWSU) answered with 26 points and 7 rebounds and
Jevaughn McKenzie added 14 points in the effort for Trojans. Trojans' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
Defenders will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Trojans will play at home against Running Rebels (#1) to get more than just one victory in their record.
