Nicholas' double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Forward Arik Nicholas (196-F) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for EZ Investments Dream Ballers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Trojans (#6, 2-10) 88-79. Dream Ballers maintains the 5th position in Belizean league. Dream Ballers is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-5 record. In the team's last game Nicholas had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Dream Ballers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Arizona Christian University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Nicholas is in league's top in points (6th best: 19.2ppg) and averages solid 1.6bpg and 55.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Edward Hampton of San Pedro Tiger Sharks. He is a in his first season at Tiger Sharks. In the last game Hampton recorded an impressive double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Tiger Sharks was edged by the higher-ranked Defenders (#1, 9-2) 77-74. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Tiger Sharks still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 6-4 record is not bad at all. Hampton is one of the most experienced players at Tiger Sharks and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.2ppg (#3). He also registered 7.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Nigel Jones (201-F -1990) of league's leader Belize City Defenders. Jones scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Defenders, leading his team to a 77-74 win against #4 ranked Tiger Sharks. Defenders confirms their top position in the standings. Jones has a great season in Belize.
