Rene Calvo, 32-year old swingman from the Club Universitario de Sucre, was named the Player of the Year at the Liga Boliviana de Básquetbol. He received multiple other awards, was voted the Defensive Player of the Year, Domestic Player of the Year, and was selected to the First Team and Domestic Players Team. Calvo was previously named to Honorable Mention back in 2018 and 2022, Domestic Player of the Year and chosen to the First Team back in 2023 and 2024. He was the Player of the Week honoree four times during the 25 campaign. Calvo's consistent performance as a playmaker earned him the fourth ranked in points per game, showcasing average of almost 18 and third in rebounds per game with an average of over 11. Haylen Washington, 31-year old American guard from the Club Universitario de Sucre, was selected as the Import Player of the Year of Liga Boliviana de Básquetbol. He graduated from the College of Coastal Georgia seven years ago. Washington collected multiple other honors, was named to the First Team and Imports Team. He previously earned a spot in the Second Team back in 2023 and earned Honorable Mention last year. Washington's exceptional play earned him the second spot in points per game, boasting an impressive average of over 20. He also averaged over 8 rebounds per game in the league. Washington has totalled 16 games of 20 or more points on the year and registered 30 or more points in 2 games. He had double-doubles in 8 games at the event. Washington's 37 points against CAN Potosi were the most he scored in the 2025 season.
