Richard Ford signs at Univ. Santa Cruz

Club Universidad Santa Cruz (Libobasque) landed experienced 34-year old American forward Richard Ford (205-85, college: So.Poly State). The last time (17-18) he played at Magic City Surge (ABA) in the U.S. Ford missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
Among other achievements Ford won ABA championship title in 2016. He received also Eurobasket Summer League in Atlanta All-Tournament 2nd Team award back in 2010.
Ford is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Japan, Mexico, ABA (California Seakings, Jacksonville Giants, Port City P. and Baltimore Hawks), Bolivia (Universidad Autonoma Gabriel Rene Moreno), NABL (Snohomish C.) and El Salvador (Brujos Izalco).
Ford attended Southern Polytechnic State University until 2008 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into His outlook: Richard was the glue in the middle for his teams championship run. He was excellent on the boards, played great defense and scored in a team sense. Richard runs the floor very well and showed a high basketball IQ which helped his team win the ESL Championship.
