Milos Petkovic (ex San Martin) is a newcomer at Rubair

Rubair Quillacollo (Libobasquet) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old Serbian power forward Milos Petkovic (204cm-100kg, agency: Interperformances). The last time (18-19) he played at San Martin in Argentinian La Liga. Petkovic missed last season due to covid-19 restrictions and had longer break from professional basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Petkovic's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and Latin America) in seven different countries. He has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Issa Town), Bosnia (KK HEO Aleksic Komerc Bileca), Montenegro (Ulcinj), Romania (Cluj Napoca, CSM Steaua Bucuresti, CSA Steaua CSM EximBank Bucuresti 2nd team and Concordia), Serbia (Vrsac), Bolivia (Penarol, Pichincha, Calero and AND1 La Paz) and North Macedonia (Kozuv).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Argentinian LigaA final in 2019. Petkovic was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Bolivian Libobasquet 2nd Team back in 2018.
The scouts decsribe him following way: Milos is a dominant offensive post player who can score with his back to the bucket, face up and shoot high percentages, or drive to the rim and finish strong. He can also shoot the 3 point shot and stretch defenses. Very fast in transition and runs the floor fast. Very aggressive rebounder and shot blocker. Strong finisher in the paint. So strong that clubs have used Milos solely in the paint and have not needed his 3 point shooting ability.
