Milos Petkovic claims Bolivian Libobasquet Hoops Agents weekly honour- July 25, 2021
The 30-year old power forward had a double-double of 34 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Amistad (#5, 0-2) with 31-point margin 106-75. Rubair was forced-out from the top positions in Bolivian Libobasquet. Rubair is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. Petkovic has many years of experience at Rubair, through which he has constantly improved. Petkovic has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 27.0ppg. Petkovic is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 11.0rpg) and averages solid 81.8% FGP. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 32-year old American forward T.J. Robinson (203-F-89) of second-ranked Pichincha. Robinson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 26 points and 17 rebounds. Of course he led Pichincha to another comfortable win 97-80 over Amistad (0-2) being unquestionably team leader. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Robinson is one of the most experienced players at Pichincha and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.0ppg (#2). He also registered 17.0 boards per game. The third best performed player last round was former international swingman Carlos Romero (190-G/F-84) of Amistad (#5). Romero scored 22 points and passed six assists. Despite Romero's great performance Amistad lost 75-106 to Rubair (#3, 1-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Amistad can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 2 games. Romero has individually a great season in Bolivia.
