Emilio Stucky claims Bolivian Libobasquet weekly honour- August 9, 2021
The 27-year old forward had a double-double of 18 points and sixteen rebounds, while his team edged out Rubair (#3, 3-3) 82-80. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Calero maintains the 4th position in Bolivian Libobasquet. Calero is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Stucky had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Calero's top player in his first season with the team. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Calero's star - 34-year old American guard Scheraun King (190-G-87). King impressed basketball fans with 29 points and 6 rebounds. It was enough for Calero to edge slightly higher-ranked Rubair (#3, 3-3) by 2 points 82-80. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Calero consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team's 2-2 record is not bad at all. King is a newcomer at Calero and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.8ppg (#1). He also registered 7.8 boards per game. The third best performed player last round was American Irin Stark (185-G-89) of Rubair (#3). Stark showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, five rebounds and five assists in the last round. Despite Stark's great performance Rubair lost 80-82 to #4 ranked Calero. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Rubair needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 3 victories and 3 lost games. Stark has a great season in Bolivia. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.4ppg (8th best) and assists with 4.2apg (5th best). Other top performing players last week: 4. Milos Petkovic (204-F/C-91) of Rubair - 19 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists 5. Esteban Covarrubias (190-F-01) of Rubair - 11 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists 6. Diego Olguin (186-G-95) of Rubair - 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists 7. Pedro Gutierrez (182-SG-96) of Calero - 8 points, 3 rebounds and 9 assists 8. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
