Stucky's double-double lands him Player of the Week award- August 19, 2021
He had a double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Pichincha (4-2) 90-84. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Calero is placed at 2nd position in Bolivian league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Calero will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. In the team's last game Stucky had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Calero's top player in his first season with the team. Stucky has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 21.5ppg), assists (8th best: 3.0apg) and averages solid 1.8bpg,2.3spg,66.7% FGP and 47.4% from behind 3-point line. Second best performed player last round was Tony Farmer (201-F-94) of top-ranked PICHINCHA POTOSI. He is American forward in his first season at Pichincha. In the last game Farmer recorded impressive double-double of 35 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Pichincha lost that game 84-90 to Calero (4-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Calero managed to tie with Pichincha at the very top position in the standings. His team has currently 4-2 record. Farmer is a newcomer at Pichincha and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often. Third place about best performers goes to forward Freddy Marin (202-F-92) of Amistad (#5). Marin got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds and five assists. Despite Marin's great performance Amistad lost 101-111 to the higher-ranked Calero (#2, 4-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Amistad can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-6 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Marin has individually a great season in Bolivia. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.6ppg (3rd best). Other top performing players last week: 4.
