Gamazo's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award- June 28, 2022
He had a double-double of 24 points and 18 rebounds, while his team beat Saracho (#6, 2-3) 82-72. La Salle is placed at 4th position in Bolivian league. La Salle is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. Gamazo just recently signed at La Salle, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Gamazo has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.3ppg and leads league in rebounds with 15.8rpg. Gamazo is in league's top in and averages solid 66.2% FGP. Second best performed player last round was Haylen Washington (196-G-1994) of Univ.Sucre. He is American guard in his first season at Univ.Sucre. In the last game Washington recorded impressive double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he led Univ.Sucre to another comfortable win 85-67 over Tenis (#9, 0-5) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Univ.Sucre to move up to 7th position in the standings. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Univ.Sucre managed to get this year. Washington is one of the most experienced players at Univ.Sucre and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Former College of Coastal Georgia star Washington is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Third place about best performers goes to center Ronald Farmer-Blanchard (208-C-1991) of Tenis (#9). Farmer-Blanchard scored 25 points and grabbed eighteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Farmer-Blanchard's great performance Tenis lost 67-85 to slightly higher-ranked Univ.Sucre (#7, 1-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Tenis can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. Farmer-Blanchard has a very solid season. In 5 games in Bolivia he scored 16.0ppg. Other top performing players last week: 4. Sebastian Chaine (201-C-1986) of Univ.Sucre - 18 points, 15 rebounds and 3 assists 9. Raul Salvatierra (200-F-1991) of Atomico - 11 points, 17 rebounds and 3 assists 10.
