Seventh-ranked Univ.Sucre (1-4) gave a tough game to third ranked Pichincha (5-1) on Tuesday. Pichincha managed to secure only two-point victory 73-71. However their fans expected much easier game. 26 personal fouls committed by Univ.Sucre helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Ralfi Silva who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. Diego Santana helped adding 11 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side Argentinian center Sebastian Chaine (201-1986) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Pichincha have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Univ.Sucre at the other side keeps the seventh position with four games lost. Pichincha are looking forward to face La Salle (#4) in Tarija in the next round. Univ.Sucre will play against San Simon and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.

Undefeated Leones have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. San Simon at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. Leones will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. San Simon will play on the road against Univ.Sucre and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Tenis (0-6) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to fourth ranked La Salle (3-2) 96-89 on Wednesday evening. Joaquin Gamazo fired a double-double by scoring 30 points and 20 rebounds for the winners. Ronald Farmer-Blanchard produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds for lost side. La Salle maintains fourth place with 3-2 record. Tenis lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. La Salle will meet at home league's second-placed Pichincha in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tenis will play against UNITEP (#8) and hope to get finally their first victory.

In the last game of round 7 UNITEP lost to Saracho on the opponent's court 69-80.

Rather expected game when 8th ranked UNITEP (1-5) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Saracho (3-3) 80-69 on Wednesday. Argentinian forward Facundo Sanz (197-1996, agency: BIG) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Argentinian point guard Julian Roumec (188-1997) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. Five Saracho players scored in double figures. Argentinian Francisco Bonja produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 18 rebounds and Argentinian Nicolas Rodriguez added 21 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. UNITEP's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Saracho moved-up to fifth place. UNITEP lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with five games lost. Saracho will meet Atomico (#6) in the next round. UNITEP will play against Tenis and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
