Matias Martinez claims Bolivian Libobasquet weekly honour

Argentinian Matias Martinez (195-G/F-1994) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Atomico and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
The 28-year old swingman had a double-double of 37 points and ten rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Tenis (#9, 0-16) with 36-point margin 106-70. Atomico is placed at 3rd position in Bolivian Libobasquet. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Atomico will need more victories to improve their 10-5 record. In the team's last game Martinez had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Atomico's top player in his first season with the team. Matias Martinez averages just after three games 25.0ppg, 10.0rpg and 5.7apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Argentinian shooting guard Eduardo Gamboa (189-SG-1984) of La Salle. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 15 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Barreras has a very solid season. In 4 games in Bolivia he scored 23.5ppg.
