Andres Trujillo claims Bolivian Libobasquet Hoops Agents weekly honour

Andres Trujillo (1999) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader San Simon and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 23-year old had the game-high 35 points adding five rebounds and two assists for San Simon in his team's victory, helping them to beat Carl A-Z (#10, 0-2), the league's bottom-ranked team 86-71. It allowed San Simon to jump to the first place in the Bolivian Libobasquet. But it's just the very beginning of the season and San Simon won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Trujillo had a remarkable 61.1% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at San Simon and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Trujillo has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 28.0ppg) and averages solid 63.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young guard Agustin Carreon (G-2000) of Calero. Carreon impressed basketball fans with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course Calero cruised to a 77-70 relatively comfortable win over Pichincha (1-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Carreon is one of the most experienced players at Calero and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Spencer Collins (196-G/F-1993) of second-ranked Leones. Collins got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for eleven rebounds . He was a key player of Leones, leading his team to a 96-58 easy win against La Paz (1-1). Leones needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 1 victory and 1 lost game. Collins has a great season in Bolivia. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 31.5ppg (2nd best).
