Washington's 24 points and 9 rebounds give him Player of the Week award

28-year old guard Haylen Washington (196-G-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for Univ.Sucre and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had the game-high 24 points adding nine rebounds and three assists for Univ.Sucre in his team's victory, helping them to outclass CAN Oruro (4-2) with 29-point margin 89-60. Univ.Sucre is placed at 4th position in Bolivian league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Univ.Sucre will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. In the team's last game Washington had a remarkable 90.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Univ.Sucre, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Haylen Washington averages this season 18.3ppg and 7.8rpg. Worth to mention Washington played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Deondre Wade (193-G/F) of CAN Oruro. He is American swingman in his first season at CAN Oruro. In the last game Wade recorded impressive double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as CAN Oruro lost that game 60-89 to slightly higher-ranked Univ.Sucre (4-2). This loss caused CAN Oruro to drop to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 4-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Wade is one of the most experienced players at CAN Oruro and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Milos Petkovic (204-F/C-1991) of San Simon (#7). Petkovic scored 20 points and grabbed eighteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Petkovic's great performance San Simon lost 72-84 to the higher-ranked Atletico Nacional (#2, 4-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of San Simon not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 4 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Petkovic could try to bring San Simon's a little bit higher in the standings. Petkovic has individually a great season in Bolivia. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.2ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 11.4rpg (3rd best).
