The 40-year old center had a double-double of 29 points and twenty six rebounds, while his team outclassed La Paz (#10, 2-8) with 65-point margin 121-56. Carl A-Z is placed at 6th position in Bolivian Libobasquet. Carl A-Z is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-5 record. In the team's last game Romero had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Carl A-Z, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Florida State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Romero is in league's top in points (8th best: 18.6ppg), assists (5th best: 3.9apg) and averages solid 1.3bpg,64.0% FGP and 55.3% from behind 3-point line. Vallejos impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds. Of course San Simon cruised to a 81-74 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked CAN Oruro (#5, 5-5). San Simon's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 6-4 record is not bad at all. Vallejos is one of the most experienced players at San Simon and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. The third best performed player last round was American Haylen Washington (196-G-1994) of Univ.Sucre (#4). Washington scored 29 points and grabbed sixteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Univ.Sucre, leading his team to a 90-83 win against the lower-ranked Saracho (#7, 5-6). Univ.Sucre needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 5 lost games. Washington has a great season in Bolivia. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.3ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 9.5rpg (6th best).
