Leones ink Yohanner Sifontes, ex Piratas

Club Leones Potosi Basquetbol (Libobasquet) signed 28-year old Venezuelan international guard Yohanner Sifontes (192cm-1995, agency: Pro Sports). Sifontes played this summer at Piratas in Venezuelan SPB league. In 10 games just recently he had 9.2ppg, 2.0rpg and 3.1apg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. The last season he played at Independiente de Oliva in Argentinian La Liga where in 30 games he recorded 9.4ppg, 4.6rpg and 2.7apg. Sifontes has been regularly called to Venezuelan Senior National Team since 2018.
He has played also professionally in Colombia (Titanes) and Argentina (Ameghino). Sifontes won Venezuelan LPB championship title in 2017 and 2018.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SLB Honorable Mention in 2021.
