Tarija Basquet adds Jamar Sandifer and Nate Ogbu

The Libobasquet 2024 will have a team from Tarija city again after 2 years. Tarija Basquet is the union of several teams from Tarija City. This team has already added two American Imports for the season, Jamar Sandifer (193-G-1997, college: SWOSU) and Nate Ogbu (201-F-2001), both have arrived in Bolivia already.

Jamar Sandifer is the most experienced of the 2, a graduated from SWOSU in 2019, Jamar has already played in Australia and Sweden, and most recently in Mexico, having played the CIBACOPA for Pioneros de los Mochis in the 2023 season with averages of 10.3 ppg, 3.7 rpg and 1.1 apg in 28 games.

The other import is Nate Ogbu, a rookie who just graduated on Dickinson College (NCAA 3), but has also played on NCAA 1 (2019-2023) level for Dartmouth Big Green. On his last season on Dickinson College, Nate averaged 12.6 ppg, 8.1 rpg and 2.5 apg in 27 games. Nate will surely try to have an inmediate impact on his first professional team.
