Jones' 34-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

33-year old American shooting guard Decorey Jones (201-SG-1990) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked CDyC Pichincha de Potosi and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had the game-high 34 points adding six rebounds and three assists for Pichincha in his team's victory, helping them to outclass La Paz (#10, 1-9) with 41-point margin 106-65. Pichincha maintains the 2nd position in Bolivian league. They are still close to the very top. Pichincha would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 8-2 record. In the team's last game Jones had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Pichincha, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Decorey Jones averages this season 15.5ppg and 6.5rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Juan Cognigni (192-G-1990) of Kinwa Club. He is Argentinian guard in his first season at Kinwa. In the last game Cognigni recorded an impressive 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Kinwa lost that game 75-102 to the higher-ranked Tarija Basquet (#3, 8-2). Kinwa managed to keep the same 9th spot in the standings. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Kinwa managed to get this year. Cognigni is one of the most experienced players at Kinwa and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Alvaro Caraffa (199-PF-2000, agency: BIG) of Club Deportivo y Cultural Saracho (#8). Caraffa scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). Despite Caraffa's great performance the Saracho lost 90-108 to the league's current leader CAN Potosi (#1, 9-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Saracho not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 7 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Caraffa could try to bring Saracho's a little bit higher in the standings. Caraffa has individually a great season in Bolivia. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.5rpg (7th best). He also has a FGP of 67.9% and 3PT: 44.4%.
