The best for the losing side was Amadi Ikpeze with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Univ.Sucre moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Carl A-Z. Loser Pichincha keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with Tarija Basquet. Univ.Sucre will meet at home Kinwa (#9) in the next round. Pichincha will play against Tarija Basquet (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There was no surprise in Oruro where 10th ranked La Paz (1-14) was crushed by seventh ranked Carl A-Z (6-8) 109-62 on Monday. Carl A-Z dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to La Paz's 32 and made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They outrebounded La Paz 58-31 including a 41-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Argentinian point guard Roberto Orresta (177-1991) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Heyer Fernandez helped adding 14 points and 9 rebounds. Five Carl A-Z players scored in double figures. Carl A-Z's coach Marcelo Mendieta felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American swingman Jonathan Greenfield (190, college: Lehman) with 28 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Sergio Herbas (-2003) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Argentinian Alvaro Caraffa (199-2000, agency: BIG) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and Alejandro Vedia (-1997) scored 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Saracho's coach Dariel Sotero rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. They outrebounded CAN Oruro 48-31 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Ecuadorian center Jordan Cardenas (206-1998, college: FNU, agency: BIG) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds.
