CAN Potosi (14-1) recorded its first loss at the home court on Monday night. Hosts were rolled over by fifth ranked CAN Oruro (9-7) 81-53. The best player for the winners was Argentinian Wilfredo Alvarez who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. Argentinian forward Gonzalo Romero (196-1997) chipped in 10 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Cristhian Camargo (194-1992) who recorded 14 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CAN Oruro have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 9-7 record. CAN Potosi at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. CAN Oruro are looking forward to face higher ranked Leones (#4) in Potosi in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CAN Potosi will play on the road against Carl A-Z in Oruro and is hoping to win this game.

Leones will play on the road against CAN Oruro and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Visiting Pichincha was defeated by Univ.Sucre in a tough game in Sucre 76-81. It was a great evening for Omarayon Turner who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Amadi Ikpeze with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Univ.Sucre moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Carl A-Z. Loser Pichincha keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with Tarija Basquet. Univ.Sucre will meet at home Kinwa (#9) in the next round. Pichincha will play against Tarija Basquet (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games of round 15 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:

There was no surprise in Oruro where 10th ranked La Paz (1-14) was crushed by seventh ranked Carl A-Z (6-8) 109-62 on Monday. Carl A-Z dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to La Paz's 32 and made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They outrebounded La Paz 58-31 including a 41-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Argentinian point guard Roberto Orresta (177-1991) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Heyer Fernandez helped adding 14 points and 9 rebounds. Five Carl A-Z players scored in double figures. Carl A-Z's coach Marcelo Mendieta felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American swingman Jonathan Greenfield (190, college: Lehman) with 28 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Sergio Herbas (-2003) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Carl A-Z moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Univ.Sucre. La Paz lost their seventh game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Carl A-Z will meet at home league's leader CAN Potosi in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. La Paz will play against Univ.Sucre (#6) and hope to win that game.

Pichincha outrebounded Saracho 48-27 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Pichincha looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Axel Veizaga (182-1996) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points. American center Amadi Ikpeze (208, college: St.Bonaventure) helped adding 17 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Argentinian Alvaro Caraffa (199-2000, agency: BIG) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and Alejandro Vedia (-1997) scored 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Saracho's coach Dariel Sotero rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Pichincha maintains second place with 12-4 record having just one point less than leader CAN Potosi, which they share with Tarija Basquet. Saracho lost their third game in a row. They outrebounded CAN Oruro 48-31 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds.
