CAN Potosi made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Cuban guard Adriano Barreras (186-1989) who scored 29 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international swingman Rene Calvo (193-1993) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. It was a good game for American center Amadi Ikpeze (208, college: St.Bonaventure) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. The former international forward Andres Trujillo (184-1999) contributed with 18 points and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Jamar Sandifer (193-1997, college: SWOSU) answered with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Argentinian Santiago Calderon added 17 points in the effort for Tarija Basquet. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
