It was a good game for American center Amadi Ikpeze (208, college: St.Bonaventure) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. The former international forward Andres Trujillo (184-1999) contributed with 18 points and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Jamar Sandifer (193-1997, college: SWOSU) answered with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Argentinian Santiago Calderon added 17 points in the effort for Tarija Basquet. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
