Tarija Basquet dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to CAN Potosi's 34. The best player for the winners was American guard Jamar Sandifer (193-1997, college: SWOSU) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Ecuadorian center Jordan Cardenas (206-1998, college: FNU, agency: BIG) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. Four Tarija Basquet players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Cuban guard Adriano Barreras (186-1989) who recorded 20 points and 7 rebounds and the former international swingman Rene Calvo (193-1993) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively. CAN Potosi's coach David Pardo rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
