Rene Calvo's triple-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

International Swingman Rene Calvo (193-F/G-1993) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Club Universitario de Sucre, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 31-year old player recorded a triple-double of 25 points adding also 10 rebounds and 10 assists, while his team beat CAN Oruro (#8, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 100-91. Univ.Sucre is placed at 3rd position in Bolivian Libobasquet. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Univ.Sucre will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Calvo had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Univ.Sucre, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Rene Calvo has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 18.3ppg) and assists (4th best: 5.7apg).

The second best player in last round's games was young Serbian Milos Petkovic (204-F/C-1991) of CDyC Pichincha de Potosi. Petkovic had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 16 rebounds. It was enough for Pichincha to edge Carl A-Z (1-2) 90-87.
