Daniel Simon claims Bolivian Libobasquet Hoops Agents weekly honour

Cuban Daniel Simon (185-G-1996) had an amazing evening in the last round for CA Ramallo Lafuente A-Z Oruro and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 29-year old guard had a double-double of 30 points and 19 rebounds, while his team beat CAN Oruro (#8, 1-12) 113-106. Carl A-Z maintains the 6th position in Bolivian Libobasquet. Carl A-Z is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-8 record. In the team's last game Simon had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Carl A-Z, through which he has constantly improved. Simon has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 9.8rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 51.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Irin Stark (185-G-1989) of Club Atletico Nacional Oruro. Stark impressed basketball fans with 38 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as CAN Oruro lost that game 106-113 to slightly higher-ranked Carl A-Z (#6, 4-8). CAN Oruro are still at the very bottom. 12 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory CAN Oruro managed to get this year. Stark is one of the most experienced players at CAN Oruro and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.6ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 8.4rpg and 4.0apg.

The third best performed player last round was international center Marco Recamo (199-C-1989) of CD Calero de Potosi (#7). Recamo got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds . Despite Recamo's great performance the Calero lost 84-101 to slightly lower-ranked CAN Oruro (#8, 1-12). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Calero can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-10 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Recamo has individually a great season in Bolivia. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.8ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 8.3rpg (9th best).
