Simon's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

29-year old Cuban guard Daniel Simon (185-G-1996) put on an amazing game in the last round for CA Ramallo Lafuente A-Z Oruro and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 30 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Kinwa (#4, 8-5) 94-89. Carl A-Z maintains the 6th position in Bolivian league. Carl A-Z is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-8 record. In the team's last game Simon had a remarkable 55.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Carl A-Z, through which he has constantly improved. Simon has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 10.2rpg) and averages solid 1.1bpg and 51.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Milos Petkovic (204-F/C-1991) of CDyC Pichincha de Potosi. He is Serbian forward in his first season at Pichincha. In the last game Petkovic recorded an impressive double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Pichincha lost that game 89-95 to slightly higher-ranked Univ.Sucre (#3, 8-5). Pichincha managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-7 record. Petkovic is one of the most experienced players at Pichincha and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.6ppg (#9). He also registered 12.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Mauro Zubiaurre (189-PG-1994) of league's second-best Club Leones Potosi Basquetbol. Zubiaurre scored 26 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Despite Zubiaurre's great performance the Leones lost 80-82 to the lower-ranked Calero (#7, 3-10). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Leones needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 9 victories and 4 lost games. Zubiaurre has a great season in Bolivia. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.4ppg (3rd best) and assists with 4.0apg (9th best). He also has 1.1bpg and a FGP of 53.8%.
