CAN Potosi dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Carl A-Z's 28. CAN Potosi forced 26 Carl A-Z turnovers and outrebounded them 49-38 including 36 on the defensive glass. CAN Potosi looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Carl A-Z's players. Jose Gil stepped up and scored 9 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Alan Castro (-2002) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Argentinian point guard Luciano Tantos (171-1988) responded with 8 points, 7 assists and 7 steals and Alejandro Vedia (-1997) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Josue Rodriguez produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds and Argentinian forward Juan Martin Bello (200-1999) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side.
