The best player for the winners was Ralfi Silva who scored 28 points and 9 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). American guard Haylen Washington (196-1994, college: Co.Georgia) chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Washington is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Gonzalo Romero (196-1997) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and forward Erick Mendizabal (-1999) added 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. CAN Potosi's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Leones - Pichincha 92-84

Leones dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Pichincha's 54. Leones players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for Argentinian power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (200-1988) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds. Uruguayan point guard Mauro Zubiaurre (189-1994) contributed with a triple-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Argentinian forward Facundo Sanz (197-1996, agency: BIG) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and Argentinian forward Juan Martin Bello (200-1999) added 19 points and 7 assists in the effort for Pichincha. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
