There was no surprise when 10th ranked Osasco (2-12) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Sao Jose (8-6) 97-69 on Wednesday. Sao Jose looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Eddy Carvalho (197-1987) stepped up and scored 25 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Douglas Nunes (210-1987) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Sao Jose players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Igor Avelino (203-1993) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Bruno Viana (191-1993) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sao Jose moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Rio Claro. Osasco lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 12 games lost.
