Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of round 16 in the NBB took place in Sao Paulo. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of higher ranked Sao Paulo (12-4) to seventh ranked Paulistano (10-6) 78-77 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sao Paulo. Paulistano forced 20 Sao Paulo turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Nate Barnes (182-1990, college: ABU) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and forward Lucas Doria (203, college: St.Edward's) who added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Paulistano's coach Demetrius Ferraciu used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American guard Malcolm Miller (201-1991, college: Southern) responded with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Paulistano maintains seventh position with 10-6 record. Sao Paulo at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost. Paulistano's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Sao Paulo Vivo/Franca.
Important game to mention about took place in Brasilia. Thirteenth ranked Pato (5-11) saved a 1-point derby victory on the road edging 16th ranked Cerrado (3-13) 110-109 on Thursday evening. The winners were led by Colombian guard Romario Roque (180-1998) who scored that evening 30 points and 6 assists and Jonatan Oliveira supported him with 29 points (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Pato's coach Jece Leite allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 25 points and 6 assists by American guard Rashaun McLemore (195-1986, college: CSUN) did not help to save the game for Cerrado. Pato maintains thirteenth position with 5-11 record. Cerrado at the other side keeps the sixteenth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Rio Claro. Pato will play against league's second-placed Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Cerrado will have a break next round.
