Blumenau - Brusque 55-68 An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Blumenau. Top-ranked Brusque faced their biggest opponent Blumenau. Guests from Brusque (5-0) defeated host Blumenau (3-2) 68-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Blumenau. Worth to mention a great performance of Samuel Santos (187-1999) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and point guard Lucas Campos (190-1997) who added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of bottom-ranked Vitoria (0-6) to third ranked Osasco (3-2) 82-81 on Sunday evening. Osasco made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 28 Vitoria turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Vitoria helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Naturalized Italian point guard Paulinho Boracini (183-1984) fired 22 points for the winners. Point guard Bruno Viana (191-1993) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Victor Pedreira (191-1996) produced 28 points and 9 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and Edu de Oliveira (195-1983, college: EOSC) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Vitoria's coach Marcelo Berro tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
