The round was exceptionally exciting as three games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

NBB top team - Minas (13-3) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed eighteenth ranked Brasilia (3-13) in Belo Horizonte 91-71. Minas outrebounded Brasilia 43-27 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Minas looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Argentinian guard Luciano Gonzalez (194-1990) scored 25 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Argentinian point guard Franco Baralle (185-1999) chipped in 9 points and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Christian Alaekwe (193, college: St.Thomas, TX) responded with 24 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Minas have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-3 record. Brasilia lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth place with 13 games lost. Minas are looking forward to face U.Corinthians (#14) in Santa Cruz do Sul in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Brasilia will play on the road against Cearense (#9) in Fortaleza and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.

Cerrado beat Sao Paulo on its own court 82-74. Cearense lost to Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro 74-77. Bottom-ranked Mogi unfortunately lost to Sesi Franca at home 64-75. Pinheiros recorded a loss to Caxias do Sul on the opponent's court 64-73. Vasco da Gama defeated Cearense in a home game 81-75. Sao Paulo beat Brasilia on the road 72-63. Flamengo destroyed UniFacisa on its own court 101-73. Pinheiros managed to outperform U.Corinthians in Sao Paulo 71-65.
