NBB Round 10 (Regular Season): No surprise as #1 Minas defeat Brasilia

NBB top team - Minas (13-3) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed eighteenth ranked Brasilia (3-13) in Belo Horizonte 91-71. Minas outrebounded Brasilia 43-27 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Minas looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Argentinian guard Luciano Gonzalez (194-1990) scored 25 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Argentinian point guard Franco Baralle (185-1999) chipped in 9 points and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Christian Alaekwe (193, college: St.Thomas, TX) responded with 24 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Minas have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-3 record. Brasilia lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth place with 13 games lost.
