Sampaio - Campinas 80-44

Sampaio dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Campinas' 16 and made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Sampaio forced 24 Campinas turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Campinas' players. It was a good game for the former international swingman Carina Martins (175-1992) who led her team to a victory with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. The former international Izabella Sangalli (182-1995) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Sampaio players scored in double figures. Sampaio's coach Cristian Santander felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
