Sampaio looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Jailin Cherry (170-1999, college: LSU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Monique Soares (190-1996) contributed with 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. International forward Vanessa Goncalves (180-1994) answered with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for Cerrado. Undefeated Sampaio have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-0 record. Cerrado at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Sampaio are looking forward to face Mesquita (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Cerrado will play against the league's second-placed SESI and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Worth to mention a quality performance of point guard Mikaelly Freitas (170-2006) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 5 assists. Maisa Marcal helped adding 12 points and 5 assists. SESI's coach Fabio Appolinario felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Tayna Reis (170-1996) responded with 19 points and 4 assists. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for SESI. They moved-up to second place. Salvador lost their ninth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. SESI will play against Cerrado (#4) in Brasilia in the next round. Salvador will play at home against Santo Andre (#5) to get more than just one victory in their record.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 11: Mesquita was beaten by Santo Andre on the road 87-82. SESI won against Recife on its own court 73-65. Bottom-ranked Salvador was outscored by Maringa in a road game 79-48.
The most impressive performance of 11th round was 10 points and 5 assists by Isabele Koerich of SESI.
