Soares signs at PolskaStrefaInwestycji Enea Gorzow Wielkopolski

PolskaStrefaInwestycji Enea Gorzow Wielkopolski (OBLK) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old American (has also Brazilian passport) 198cm center Stephanie Soares (college: Iowa State) for season 2024-25. She is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Lauren Hansen signed here earlier.
She played most recently at Dallas Wings (WNBA). But in 19 games she just recently played she recorded only 1.3ppg and 2.4rpg last season. This season she played at PolskaStrefaInwestycji Enea Gorzow Wielkopolski.
Last year Washington Mystics, traded to Dallas Wings voted her as fourth overall pick in WNBA draft.
The former Iowa State star
Soares graduated her college in 2023 and is in her second season in pro basketball.
She also represented Brazil at the FIBA South American Women's Championship in San Luis (Argentina) two years ago. Soares' team won Gold and she had over 10 points per game. Soares played also for The Master's University for 4 years.
