Pereira re-signs at LCC Klaipeda

LCC Tarptautinis Universitetas Klaipeda (Moteru Lyga) confirmed in their roster 22-year old Brazilian power forward Maiara Pereira (185cm-2002, agency: Interperformances) for upcoming 2024-25 season. She played there last season. In 16 Moteru Lyga games she had 7.6ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.2apg. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. They also played in the Cup final. Good season as she was named League Player of the Week. Pereira also played 24 games in WBBL where she recorded 9.5ppg, 6.9rpg and 1.8apg. She contributed to her team making it to the WBBL final after they ended regular season as second best team. 2023-24 was a great year as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-WBBL Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times).
The previous (2023) summer she played at Ituano Basquete (LBF) in Brazil.
Pereira represented Brazil at the World Cup U19 for Women in Debrecen (Hungary) three years ago. Her team won Silver and she had almost 12 points per game.
She has played previously in Latvia (SBK Liepaja/LSSS) and Brazil (Guarulhos and Mesquita).
